An appear offline option WILL prevent that.Instead of wasting time on the forums (where everyone is wrong ) you should totally start a gaming company and make an mmo game the CORRECT wayДЇinding groups. You add that and almost EVERYONE will use appear offline.and NO in-game community will form.

Then its like they almost seem ready to try building a community with this new lobby thing modeled on Discord.and then they screw it up by adding appear offline. That means no sharding, no phasing, no group finders. They've tried everything but what I keep saying is the problem.

They thought the issue was adding a badass hero class like demon hunters and pumping out massive amounts of content so people would never get bored. They thought the issue was upgrading graphics. They thought the issue was bringing back orcs as the bad guys and some easy content like mission tables. They thought the issue was making a family friendly xpac like MoP. They thought the issue was making a tourist mode so everyone can 'see the content'. They thought the issue was making leveling easier. I've been saying FOREVER WoW needs a vibrant in-game community to grow the subs back to 10+ million. If I want to play a different blizzard game and not be bombarded with messages to play a game that I don't want to, I'll throw on Appear Offline so maybe, instead of the little icon showing that I don't want to play 'x' game with you, I just won't have to deal with you altogether, like you aren't even there. Or if I just want to go play some D3 and run rifts, I chose to play D3 so I'll interact with the people there, in General/Community chats and not be bothered by children who never leave WoW and always whine when people don't give them what they want. I'm sorry, but if I just want to relax and play the SC2 campaign alone, I really don't care if you want me to run some dungeons with you. I still see no point of this feature in a MMO game.This isn't about an 'MMO Game', it's about an entire platform. Put on DND and don't answer to ur friends.

While we demand to see everyone at the party so we don't have people hidden in the background.
